Context: This site is not a blog. It is a live build log of a business operating under high-friction constraints. image This page exists to reduce misinterpretation. It is the schema for the rest of the site.

The Three Layers of Content

This archive is built on three distinct layers. They serve different functions and decay at different rates.

Layer 1: The Dispatches (Posts)

Location: posts | Status: High Volatility (Time-bound)

These are snapshots of my thinking at a specific moment in time. They are:

  • Exploratory: “I am trying X to solve Y.”
  • Raw: Written to process a problem, not to preach a solution.
  • Contradictory: A post from 2023 may contradict a post from 2024. That is not a bug; it is evidence of learning.

Read these for: Experiments, arguments, and real-time problem solving.

Layer 2: The Zones (Themes)

Location: tags | Status: Stable (Categorical)

These pages organize the chaos into five operational zones:

Read these to: Navigate the archive by topic rather than time.

Layer 3: The Source Code (Reference Pages)

Location: reference | Status: Evergreen (Continuously Updated)

These pages are the current “Truth.” They are documentation, not content. When my thinking changes, I edit these pages directly.

Read these for: Context, definitions, and the current operational reality.

The Dependency Tree

Most content here assumes you have read the Source Code.

  • Build Logs assume you know what O9X is.
  • Founder Physics posts assume you understand Survivability > Scale.
  • AI workflows assume you know my Rules on Automation.

If a Post (Layer 1) contradicts a Reference Page (Layer 3), the Reference Page is the current authority.

How to Navigate This Site

The site provides multiple ways to discover content:

The Explorer (Left Sidebar)

The file tree on the left shows the structure of the archive. It organizes content by folder:

  • Posts: Dispatches, sorted by recency
  • Tags: The five operational zones
  • Reference: Current documentation and source code

Folders are collapsible. Large folders (like Posts) show only the last 5 items to keep the sidebar manageable. Click “See More” to view all files in a folder.

Mobile: The Explorer collapses into a hamburger menu at the top. Tap the menu icon to reveal the full structure.

Search (Top Navigation)

The search box finds content across all posts and reference pages. Useful when you remember a concept but not where you saw it.

On mobile, tap the search icon (magnifying glass) to open search.

The Graph

The graph visualization shows connections between posts and reference pages. Each node is a page, and lines show internal links.

Features:

  • Hover over nodes to highlight connections
  • Clicking a node takes you to that page
  • Click the network icon (top right of graph) to open the full-screen global graph
  • Zoom and drag to explore complex relationships

Desktop: Shown on the right sidebar for quick reference while reading.

Tablet & Mobile: Shown at the bottom of each article, above the footer. This lets you explore connections without disrupting your reading flow.

This is how you discover “I didn’t know these concepts were related” moments.

Every page lists “Backlinks” - pages that link to the current page. Use this to:

  • See how a concept is used in other posts
  • Trace the evolution of an idea across multiple dispatches
  • Find related thinking on the same topic

Example: Read “Why Your VP Title Means Nothing,” then check Backlinks to see which other posts reference the concept.

Mobile & Tablet: Backlinks are hidden on smaller screens. Use Search to find related posts instead.

Table of Contents (Right Sidebar - Desktop Only)

For longer articles, the table of contents auto-generates from headings. Click any heading to jump to that section.

Mobile: Jump links appear as you scroll through a post.

What This Site Is NOT

To clear the air:

  • ❌ Not a Startup Advice Blog: I don’t know your context. I only know mine.
  • ❌ Not a SaaS Marketing Site: I am sharing the build, not selling the tool.
  • ❌ Not a “Productivity” Newsletter: I don’t care about your morning routine. I care about operational leverage.

Most writing here comes from running a non-VC backed, manpower-heavy business in India. The ideas are forged in that specific heat.

A Note on “Idea Decay”

Some ideas here will age poorly. Constraints shift. Technology (especially AI) renders old assumptions obsolete overnight.

  • I do not delete old posts. I keep them as a record of what I used to believe.
  • I do update Reference Pages.

The Rule: If you see a conflict between an old post and a new reality, assume the reality won.

Device-Specific Tips

Desktop

  • Use the Graph on the right sidebar to explore connections while reading
  • Keep the Table of Contents open for quick navigation in longer posts
  • Backlinks on the right sidebar help you trace concept evolution
  • Reference pages visible alongside your reading

Tablet

  • Full-width content for focused reading
  • Graph appears at the bottom of articles for connection discovery
  • Use landscape orientation for more sidebar space if needed
  • Good middle ground between focus and exploration

Mobile

  • Full-width reading for minimal distractions
  • Explorer hidden in hamburger menu (tap the icon at top left)
  • Graph visible at the bottom of articles above the footer
  • Swipe or scroll down after reading to explore connections
  • Backlinks hidden; use Search to find related posts
  • Optimized for single-column reading

Reading Strategies

For Deep Understanding:

  1. Start with a Reference Page (they’re foundational)
  2. Then read related Posts (they’re applications)
  3. Check Backlinks to see how the idea appears elsewhere

For Serendipitous Discovery:

  1. Use the Graph to find unexpected connections
  2. Follow those connections to read unfamiliar posts
  3. Check tags to organize your thoughts

For Specific Knowledge:

  1. Use Search to find the concept you need
  2. Read that post in isolation
  3. Check Backlinks for related thinking

For Chronological Context:

  1. Browse /posts in reverse order (newest first)
  2. Notice how thinking evolves over time
  3. Pay attention to when major shifts happen

Final Orientation

  • Read Selectively: You don’t need to read everything. This is a library, not a novel.
  • Question Aggressively: My scars are not your scars. Test every idea against your own reality.
  • Follow Your Interest: There’s no “right” way to read this. The Graph, Search, and Tags are here to serve your curiosity, not dictate a path.

This site is a record of a work in progress, not a finished system.
